Mike is the Managing Partner at Bowery Capital based in New York. Prior to Bowery Capital, Brown co-founded AOL Ventures and led investments in over 30 companies primarily focused around the next generation of CMO and CTO spend. Before AOL Ventures, Mike worked for the investment arm of Richard Branson’s Virgin Group, helping to invest capital in early stage internet startups on behalf of the British entrepreneur. He began his career at Morgan Stanley. Outside of his professional life Brown serves on the Board of Directors of the National Forest Foundation and co-chairs the Columbia College Young Leaders Council. Mike holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
Nic is a Partner at Bowery Capital based in New York. He focuses on investments in enterprise cloud software, with particular experience in machine learning, supply chain & logistics, healthcare IT, and vertical SaaS. Prior to forming Bowery Capital, Nic worked as an Associate at AOL Ventures, where he helped drive investment in and support of over 20 early-stage technology companies. Before AOL Ventures, he served in a strategy role in AOL, leading various business development initiatives for the company's ad tech and video properties. Nic began his career in technology Investment Banking at GCA Global (fka GCA Savvian), where he supported M&A and private financing advisory as an Analyst in the firm's Internet group. Nic holds an A.B. from Princeton University.
Loren is a Principal at Bowery Capital based in New York. Prior to joining Bowery Capital, Loren was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs where she participated in a number of equity, debt and M&A transactions, predominantly in the enterprise software and internet sectors. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Loren worked at Groupon in the Corporate Finance Division where she built and led the initial Investor Relations department and subsequently ran Financial Planning & Analysis for the company’s 12 countries in APAC. Loren started her career at Activision Blizzard in the Investor Relations department. Loren has a B.S. in Communication from Boston University.

Alexandra is the Director of Talent at Bowery Capital based in New York. She works with the firm's entrepreneurs on their human capital strategies including recruiting, interviewing, compensation planning, sales management, and onboarding. Prior to joining Bowery Capital, Alexandra was the Director of Account Management at Betts Recruiting in San Francisco. She worked closely with founders of high growth software companies including Everstring, Rubrik, Intercom, Apptimize, Zenefits, and Tintri to build out their human capital efforts focused on early revenue generation. Alexandra holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature from The University of Michigan.

Andrew is the Director of Growth at Bowery Capital based in New York. He works directly with our founders to implement strategies, processes, and internal technology to enable their early sales, marketing, and customer success efforts. Prior to joining Bowery Capital, Andrew was the Director of Sales at CrowdTangle where he scaled sales and operations leading up to their acquisition by Facebook in 2016. Previously Andrew was at Chartbeat as a sales engineer and strategic account executive, growing relationships with clients like the BBC, Gannett, and NY Times. Andrew concentrated in marketing and finance as an undergrad at Boston College.

David co-founded Premise, a global economic monitoring platform based in San Francisco backed by Social Capital and Google Ventures. He has two decades of experience in capital markets, data infrastructure and startups, running the gamut from quant modeling to product design to corporate strategy. In addition to running Premise and working as a Venture Partner for Bowery, he serves on the advisory board of Columbia University’s Institute for Data Sciences, appointed by Columbia President Lee Bollinger. Prior to Premise, he was the founding CEO of Metamarkets, backed by Khosla Ventures and True Ventures. David holds a graduate degree from UC Berkeley, where he was a Javits and Pritchett Fellow pursuing the study of social, economic and linguistic history of the Greek and Roman world. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Near Eastern Languages and Cultures from Columbia. He lives in Berkeley with his wife and three kids.

Adam has over twenty years of experience managing and building large scale technical organizations for both start-ups and major corporations. Prior to Bowery, Adam was a General Partner at AOL Ventures. Before AOL, he spent 7 years as a product manager at Google where he earned the Founders Award for starting and leading the Ads Quality Team. He was also a key member in the Google search results page re-design. When he’s not working, Adam spends his “free” time rock climbing, running and enjoying the wonders of new fatherhood.
